The catalytic converter is factory equipped with a high performance perforated stainless steel heat shield to provide high efficiency cooling. The perforated, stainless steel heat shield fully replaces inefficient back heat shield of the original converter.
All stainless steel construction, with brackets for the original front manifold heat shield.
