Courier Drivers
LIGHTNING COURIERS, INC. (since xxxx), is a North-East Regional courier.
We are recruiting for a few company Drivers to provide pick-up and delivery services, based out of our Burlington Vermont branch. Local route assignments and deliveries will be handled primarily within Vermont using your own vehicle. This is not a commission-only position.
Responsibilities include pickup and delivery of various items and products, occasionally collect payment, load and unload goods to/from vehicle, coordinate/plan schedules and routes, and, other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
&#xxxx; High School Diploma or GED.
&#xxxx; Possess reliable, late model transportation (car/van/suv).
&#xxxx; Valid drivers license to operate in necessary delivery areas.
&#xxxx; Good driving record required.
&#xxxx; Ability to accommodate occasional shift changes based on business needs.
&#xxxx; Ability to follow directions.
&#xxxx; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
&#xxxx; Self-directed and punctual.
&#xxxx; Friendly, customer-service oriented.
&#xxxx; Have excellent command of the English language.
&#xxxx; Know the Greater Burlington and Vicinity well.
&#xxxx; Able to control stress in pressure situations.
&#xxxx; Have good organizational skills.
&#xxxx; Willingness to submit to a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
&#xxxx; Previous delivery driving experience.
&#xxxx; Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly without compromising quality.
Full-time and Part-time shifts available.
